My 40 year old bathroom was in need of both a cosmetic and functional makeover. In walks Linda Rosen who directs that a 90 year old tub has got to go, to be replaced by a sink with counter space that my pedestal sink lacked.
She took me to view various tiles and when she found a bubble-looking floor tile, she made a delightful suggestion to have the entire bathroom whimsically reflect bubbles found in a bathtub. The shower drain, the round mirror, wallpaper – everything she selected provoked a smile by anyone who saw the finished product.
The end result is a fresh, unique decor that is sophisticated while also evoking a childlike delight in its playful design.
